01Considerate driving
- No ramming or brake-checking: intentionally ramming, pushing off the road, cutting in or brake-checking other players is forbidden.
- No blocking: roads, junctions, motorway ramps, company yards, garages and ferry ports must not be blocked on purpose.
- Follow traffic rules: driving against traffic, reckless overtaking with oncoming traffic and stopping on the road without reason are not allowed.
02No police vehicles or police skins
Important: driving police vehicles and using police paint jobs (skins), blue lights or emergency signals is strictly forbidden for regular players.
Police vehicles, police skins and matching accessories are reserved for authorised moderators and administrators on duty. Violations lead to an immediate kick or ban.
03Fair play, modifications & cheats
- No cheats or hacks: speed hacks, no-collision hacks, teleport hacks or any other interference meant to disturb other players lead to a permanent ban.
- Save editing: vehicle combinations must not affect other players' view or physics and must not create invisible or overlong hitboxes.
04Conduct, usernames & team identification
- Be respectful: insults, hate speech, discrimination or harassment in game and on the website are not tolerated.
- Usernames & tags: names must not contain insults and must not impersonate official team roles.
- Recognising the team: official team members on duty (e.g. project leader, admin, game developer, DevOps, web developer, community manager, game moderation leader/trainer/moderator) can be recognised in game by their role tag highlighted in red.
05Moderation, bans & ban evasion
- Kicks & bans: moderators and admins can kick players from the server or ban them temporarily or permanently for rule violations.
- One account per person: evading an active ban with a second account is forbidden. To enforce this, device IDs (hashed twice) and login traces are evaluated; every account ban is decided by a moderator or admin.
- Reports: rule violations can be reported in game (
TAB → Players → Report, including an automatic 3-minute demo) or with your own video evidence via Report a player.
06Data access & account deletion (GDPR Art. 15 & 17)
You are always in control of the data stored about you:
- Data access (Art. 15 GDPR): on your profile page you can download all data stored about your account (account data, game sessions, login history, hashed device IDs and submitted reports) as a JSON file (
roadpulse-data-export.json) at any time. - Account deletion (Art. 17 GDPR): on your profile page you can delete your account immediately and completely after confirming your username. Active web and game sessions end right away.
- During an active ban: self-deletion is disabled while a ban is running, so that bans cannot be evaded by deleting and signing up again (Art. 17(3)(e) and Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Details in our privacy policy.
